Quick media facts

  •  350 Aotearoa is part of an international campaign to unite the world around solutions to climate change. Our mission is to inspire climate action in communities across New Zealand.

  •  350 parts per million (ppm) is, according to leading climate scientists, the safe upper limit for carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Accelerating arctic warming and other early climate impacts have led scientists to conclude that we are already above the safe zone at our current 392ppm. The 350 campaign is focused on making the connections between our actions and climate change easier to understand so we can turn this around.
